I love New Orleans, but unless you are a big fisherman, the outdoor situation kind of sucks. Same goes most of the state.

Family and fishing is what draws me here. I love that I'm an hour drive to some of the best fishing in the world. The food in New Orleans is awesome as well.

I work in oil and gas so I'm kind of limited with living in south La or east Texas until I retire.

I graduated undergrad in Petroleum from LSU but then got my master's in Naval Architecture and another in Engineering Management so luckily I'm pretty flexible in where I can move.

Would love to live in Charleston. My ultimate goal is to start my own poling skiff company I know the market is there in Charleston. Plus, the low country is one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Idaho, eastern Washington, Montana

Would love to do any of those or Wyoming but the gf likes cities so it'll have to be a little bit of a compromise so places like Boulder, Salt Lake city, Charleston, etc.. are seeming more realistic.

Damn had no idea it was that high.. Great info thanks.

If you would’ve said saltwater fishing I would understand.

That's the main reason.

Lots better, and less crowded places along the front range north towards Ft. Collins for living and very close access to tons of public land. Check some of the areas in between.
