Not really fun hunting on those kind of leases or property when bastards shoot everything that freaking moves all the time. Like the wild west.

My dad's friend got his hand shot off on a lease in Vernon Parish last year by some idiots in a neighboring lease. The guy was sitting in his blind and he gets shot. Very funny after they had been arguing for several months with those lease owners over them putting blinds too close to the boundary.

People on both sides of my property have that attitude. It is amazing that we have the deer we do with these dumb asses around me. The deer adapted by staying mainly nocturnal and only a few young ones get killed every year. I know they didn't shoot any of the ones I have on camera because everybody and their brother would know about it

Depends on where you hunt, and how much land you have. In Clinton if it's brown its down. In Bush..tends to be 6pt+

I got so pissed this past weekend on our club. I had some cousins who live in South Louisiana came up to the club and commenced shooting every deer that walked by. They killed at least four deer in two days on the stand next to our best stand. Nothing lot watching a small spike walk by you and then hearing him get shot 30 minutes later. He may have weighed 70 lbs.

I'll be hunting on our property for the rest of the year.

We had a family friend that every time he was invited would kill at least two deer. One for himself and one for his son. Once he shot three in one weekend. Two does and a buck between him and his 8yr old at the time son. Guy was greedy and if he weren't my dad's best friend would never have been invited back. If someone invites you somewhere please don't be greedy

Each membership gets one doe and three bucks. The bucks have to be three points or better on one side except one may be a "buck of choice" which means it can be a small buck.

More places should do this. Hopefully the buck of choice is a cull deer that needs to be taken out.

When I still lived in la, a kid got killed on the lease that I used to hunt, and another guy was shot not far from there. Friend of mine lost a couple of dogs. Irresponsible hunters damage the sport for everyone. They are the largest danger to hunting.

I hunt on public land mostly.

Thus, if it's brown, it's down.

I don't understand people who do not varify what they are shooting. I mean how hard is it to tell a person from a deer?

Nope, generally, they shoot the first set of horns that come by then go and check to see if it has 3 points on one side. If it does, shoot the next horns that walk by, repeat.

If that's the terms and conditions knowing going into a club, no sense bitching about it afterwards.

Buck fever. People get careless and don't think it through. They old sportsmans adage "I have passed on more shots than I have taken" is lost on some people.

we ought to be able to not have to wear orange on public land. But by how stupid people are obviously you have to. I mean, I'm 100% sure its a deer before I even take my gun off safety and then you have to try to aim for the right spot on a deer before you shoot. This is all sad when hunters get killed. IMO, you oughta be up for death penalty even if its accident when you kill another hunter
