So I can get a 50 percent discount from a buddy who gets the “family/friends” discount for the next week or so. A lot of the guys in the duck camp I’m in in Arkansas wear it. I personally know nothing about it besides that it’s expensive. Is it worth it at 50 percent off? What jacket/pants/ bibs to get? I duck hunt Arkansas rice fields out of pit blinds where it is cold and windy a lot of times, and also duck hunt Venice. I deer hunt Kansas for a week out the year, then Vicksburg Mississippi the rest of the season. I can buy a couple items myself and then get a couple as a early Christmas present. Any recommendations would be helpful. I have plenty camo jackets for cool weather, but nothing waterproof or for really cold weather (I usually just layer heavily) and my bibs I’ve had for 10 years zipper finally popped, so I don’t have any warm pants/bibs.

Looks like what I’d need to deer hunt, but looks like they’re out of Large and XL.

For ducks go Hudson jacket and grinder shirt/pants. Pants aren't 100% waterproof but will repel. Hudson also has bibs but aren't insulated.
Hudson jacket is 100% water/wind proof and very warm. Neck gater is worth every penny.
I also have a good bit of the stratus line and really like it

Really like the bow jacket with the diagonal zipper.

And yes, well worth it at half price.

Yes, you should it will last you a decade or more. There is a lot of BS joking and talking about Sitka and the cost and all that, but if you are looking for the best product on the market to keep you warm, dry and comfortable than Sitka is it. Hudson jacket and bib will keep you warm and dry in about anything you'll encounter from Missouri to the Gulf. Also get the thick thermals, extremely comfortable.

I have no experience with their big game gear.

For duck, Hudson jacket is a must. Love that thing. I have the grinder and gradient pants as well

For whitetail, Stratus jacket with stratus pants or bib

Absolutely yes. It's all I wear now and won't go back unless something better comes out.

If your friend can give the hook up my way, I'd love to get the Sitka waders at half off
