I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this as well, especially where durability is concerned. I'm thinking about having it done to a few of mine since there's a place near where I live that charges $100 per long gun.

Like anything else you get what you pay for. A lot of guys do it cheap out of their basement or garage and as you'd expect the wrap has bubbles or other imperfections.

I know several guys who've had guns dipped and they love the durability and easier maintenance.

My bad, I plan on getting my two shotguns done before big duck season. There is a guy here in Laff that does it.

There coating is pretty tough though. They had demonstrations at the Expo, were knocking and scratching the guns but was not leaving any marks.

I had a couple shotguns dipped years ago by Realtree. Not sure if they do it or not anymore.
