I believe an alter is someone who posts under a different username so that they can troll the other people in the thread. I may be completely wrong about this.

Grass is the PERFECT place for dogs to shite and piss. I know, I've seen 'em do it.

Reminds me of aomething that happened several years ago. A neighbor had the bad habit of letting her rottweiler out at noon when she came home for lunch. The bitch (dog) had puppies and she felt like it needed to run. Problem was she would not kennel it up the rest of the afternoon. When she came home from work the rott went back in the pen. Several neighbors had complained about the dog coming in their yard and growling at them. I didn't get involved until the bitch went in my mother-in-law's yard and got between her and her house and stood there growling at her. Mom-in-law called me and I went over with a pistol I have since lost while fishing. I did call the Sheriff's office and was told that if me or Mom-in-law felt threatened by the dog to shoot it. OR they would come over and shoot it. Lucky for the dog it had gone home by the time I got there. What was real funny was right after I got there a deputy pulled up with gun drawn asking where's the dog? No way anyone should tolerate that sort of rude behaviour in a dog. To all dog lovers on here: I would gladly have shot the bitch (dog.)
I did file a complaint on the owner(bitch)who was told to keep the dog penned or she would lose it. I believe she was fined because of the complaint; then I had to put up with her rude behaviour when she called raising hell because i had been ready to shoot her dog.Like others her I think there is more substance to the OP than was presented.

Would you have shot it if it made poo poo and tee tee up in your tree where your kids climb and play?

You go away now. You're a serial dog letter-looser.

Only time I've heard of sheriff being called where I live they wouldn't do shite. Even after multiple complaints about aggressive dog that had even bitten someone. Not sure how many complaints they needed to lock cujo up but 4 wasn't enough.

No. I have owned dogs but I won't own again. I can't provide a dog the attention it needs and I'd probably wind up giving it away for fear of neglecting it.
I can respect this. There are far too many dog owners who let their dogs run around freely to get hit by cars, or worse, stick their dog in a kennel for 8-10 hours while they work, ignoring it for most of the time. Also, far too many get a puppy then realize that they can't handle it, give it away then get another puppy. A dog is like a kid: if you do not have time or space to properly handle it, don't get one.
I still think there was a history wih the letter writer. You don't get pissed enough to shoot a dog and write a letter on the first chance encounter.

Although the shooter is most likely a big a-hole. I agree. There is a history there.

You were just baiting them into the yard with your live chickens. All your fault. Dogs gonna dog.

My deal was I didn't expect them to do a damn thing, but I was going to shoot the dog and wanted to let them know the situation. It really surprised me when they said to shoot it if it was a threat. The Deputy pulling up with gun drawn was icing on the cake. He would have stoned that dog, happily! I spoke to an older deputy a day or two later and he said basically what i thought: no one has to put up with that kind of behaviour from an animal.

After reading all the posts since my last one, it occurs to me that there is an excessive amount of shitty neighbors and dog owners around here. Dogs arent the problem, people are.

I sure hope you keep your kids out of my yard or I will have DHS on your arse for letting them break the law by trespassing on my property.
I don't want their shite left all over the neighborhood either and by god, I better not see their damn bike left out or I will have the garbage dept out to take that crap to the dump pronto.

This is my take on dog killings.
IT'S A GD DOG! If it was wrongfully killed do something about it! If not shut the hell up. It was your own fault for it being in the position to get it's self killed.
