On my 2009 Sierra there is a wire under each seat that is unplugged. No more chime. Took like 2 minutes to do which included walking around the truck.

AFL, only found two options in "settings" neither pertained to door locks. Is your truck a 2014?

It sits there and chimes in the camp ground when the door is open.
Sounds like a door chime

There are many reasons I might want the door open without the chime going off. That is the sole reason for wanting to disable it.
Sounds like a door chime.

Looks like the option has been eliminated in the 2014 models.

You're getting a gay blow job in a park aren't you. You need to tell us the truth. We won't judge.

Had a brain fart. Confused would be the word. I don't lie! Don't need to.

Seat belt alarm & auto door locks were the topic.

Mung pissed me off. Nowhere in my OP did I mention I didn't wear seat belts while driving. He through in his unsolicited 2 cents.

He was just trying to save your life.

All my chimes are controlled with the same set of button as the information deals. Same set as changing when to unlock etc. But, mine is a 2007.

I don't need to wear a seatbelt if I am riding around a field in my truck at 5 MPH.

Of course the usual suspects on the OB are dramatically lecturing in order to appear smart.

Like I stated earlier, your door locks are in the settings on the radio. Go to settings, vehicle, power locks.
This can't be found in the DIC screen or accessed from the steering wheel.

There is no way to completely disable the auto locks on my older truck. Knowing nanny GM I doubt it can be done now.

Another PIA feature.

But your OP didn't denote otherwise either FWIW. More information would have gotten you more accurate 2 cents.

You don't need to wear a seatbelt ever. Your choice.
