Again, watch for lemon fish among the sharks. The best days I have ever had for lemons were days when the sharks were thick on the surface.

Never done it only heard it.

Do your best to land your catch quickly. Don't dump any cut bait/blood overboard. As has been said a few times, once they show up, move on.

I mean I could just bump the Bent Marine thread w/ all the things that went wrong w/ my boat while we were out. Or I could make a thread about how last night at 8 pm was the first time I slept since Sunday night b/c I decided flounder gigging until 4 am and catching bait until 5 am sounded like a better plan.

Sounds like most of my weekends on the island. How many flounder did you get ? Trout were on the beach this AM.

4. scared/stepped on a bunch more

We skipped the beach and tried the rocks. very slow fishing but had some fatties.

I was really wanting to hit the rigs for lemons and snapper. Was gorgeous weather, very calm seas, but all we caught were sharks and a few blue fish.

Had a monster bull red that popped the line at the boat.

Guess I need to go w/ someone who knows what he's doing.

No, I guess along the beach. Left out of the pass and a few miles down.

F, I don't know. I don't know the area. They said we would "skip the beach and go to the rocks"

Just messing with you brah. Great thing about GI is you don't need to go far to catch the fish. Be careful out there the island is about to get packed.
