I used to hunt to get away from the wife. Now that I'm divorced, not as obsessed with hunting.

Tried to get my 3 daughters into hunting, but they like to sleep til noon on weekends.

My wife gets mad if she DOESN'T get to come!

She makes the trip. Her thing is squirrel hunting. Never been duck hunting with me...but if I get a good place, I'm sure she'll come (she just doesn't like duck to eat...funny girl). Problem is now my spot (with her dad and uncle), involves climbing up into the blind and her ankles aren't the best in the world for unsteady things.

Mine wife really enjoys fishing, hunting not so much. She will come out from time to time to watch the dogs work.

My GF has been in the duck blind several times with me but we always have crappy days when she comes. I think she may be a bad luck charm.

She loves it though, likes watching the dog work, and spots em better than me sometimes.

All that said....she doesn't understand my obsession with it and probably never will.
