Looking to hit some of the artifical reefs just to the east of the Causeway. Will probably hit the Causway if the reefs are slow. Is there any good action going on right now?

Ive heard of limits coming out of the reefs

head toward the eastern edge, about quarter of a mile Chef Menteur Highway, all that debris from the hurricanes should be hitting their structural prime

Tots if you want to find out I am fishing by myself in the AM tomorrow. Have room if you want to tag along, I know the lake fairly well.

Great afternoon trip. Just my 13yo daughter and I. We started at the trestle. Water was dingy and little tide. We caught 3 small trout. We moved to the north shoreline and caught our limit of redfish. She had a smile ear-to-ear and mine was bigger. Nice reds too!

We fished a reef ball a couple miles west of the causeway about a mile before the first hump.
Cut some small black drum, with a bunch of nice size croakers, lost a pretty red at the side of the boat twice cause we didn't have a net.

Anytime on the eyes or fishing. Causeway should be good right now, haven't been out there in a few weeks though. We will see....

My reel crapped out yesterday.
When I get a new one, I'll take you up on your offer.
Thanks for the offer.

Well hanging it up for the evening. Hopefully it will be a good day to be on the water tomorrow! Good luck all that head out.

Beautiful day on the water. Shitty day with the fish. Just a handful of 11" specs
