Yes, if it’s calling for that, it’s most likely 15-25.

Rule of thumb. Take forecast and multiply it by 1.5

Which direction will this 10-15 mph winds be blowing. If from the south, your screwed. N or NW or West, doable just need to launch either in the ship channel or West cove launch. Probably want be a east wind.

In my experience anything with a westerly breeze shuts the fishing down. It seems to muddy the lake up more.

My cap for fishing Big Lake is 12 mph. And that is only if its somewhat calm in the mornings. I have had my arse kicked too many times out there to bother with anything higher.

We have a kayak tourney on Saturday. It's going to be rough for sure.

The East side of the lake near the blowout is the only place you need to get to.

2 Reds and 2 Trout. Can fish anywhere in the state. Weigh In is at P&P. Bring the Old Town and let's go.

Well it was 55 knots at 500’ and the lake is muddy as hell right now. There was no clean water except in the ship channel.

It’s blowing like hell still. Wind will be 18-25 knots out of a 310 heading tomorrow.
