Caught some nice bass in bayou black saturday along with a few bream and sacalait. Did yard work on Sunday.

bout 15-20 bass, including 2 or 3 lunkers.. will post a gopro video whenever I finish editing out all the frick ups(snags, backlashes)

I'd love to get a gopro for duck hunting...how'd u shoot it fishing?

Went on a canoe trip with some buddies and took the solo route with my kayak. All was going awesome until I got wasted and tipped my kayak. (blame it on the beer rifle). My ice chest somehow fell off the back and all my food and ice was floating down river. I jumped off to save my precious granola bars, and while underwater, I lost my brand new Costas. Realized later that my tent, ultra light, and fifth of Jager were also missing from the spill. FML.

Oh yeah. Well worth it though. I found a few flaws in the yak that I need to work on.
ETA: Also lost the beer rifle and the scupper plugs from my kayak.

I've fished 4 of them, missed last week but looking to fish it tomorrow evening. There's usually between 20 and 30 boats.

Friday: Thunderstorms were abundant. Fished in the rain till 130 and packed it in. 30 mangroves 12 red snapper
Saturday: 2 Yellowfin 2 blackfin 16 red snapper
Sunday: 1 Yellowfin 2 Blackfin 1 Almaco 12 red snapper one was about twenty pounds
All in South Timbalier and Green Canyon
