A Warn 9.5ti on a CJ is like racing stripes on a Pinto. Don't do that to a classic.

not following........

are you saying the pin strips are so bad arse dont put them on a shitty jeep or are you saying that particular winch is too much and to just go classic on my badass pinto?

When are you getting yours back?

Also, take a look see at my front bumper and see if we can take that thing off without removing the bumper.

Midget speaks the truth.

When you need a winch, you need it to work.

I'm sure it will work fine for occasional use. Just don't expect it to last as long as a high dollar warn.

Check auto auction lots, a lot of times they will cut you a significant deal on accessories of wrecked vehicles. There's a place in Kenner by the airport that may do it.

Any updates here? I am in the market for a winch for my Jeep TJ. Don't plan on using it all the time, so don't need a $1000 product. Warn is a great brand, but would like to see if Quadratec has good value.

Bump.

I made the plunge a bought a Smittybuilt winch with synthetic line. I wouldn't use it enough to warrant anything more. Still curious as to how the Quadratec ones hold up.
