I made the run out to the rocks Saturday Sunday and Tuesday and caught 50 sixteen inch trout on average all three days. You do have to search for them a little bit after some searching you can end up on a few good bites and start filling up the ice chest

Tried within the short rocks first thing in the morning and it was very slow just couldn't find the bite. Decided to make the run all the way out to the tip of the rocks and fish around the cove and point of the island out there and manages to get on a few bites there. That's my Sunday and Tuesday report. Saturday I caught a lot of 12-13 inchers within the short rocks and in the cut through

Thanks Timmayy

I fished within the short rocks Saturday and it was hard work catching them. We caught about 30 but not all were keepers. We were fishing plastics under a cork bc BSM ran out of live shrimp bc apparently Campo's shrimp all died overnight.

There's your problem. They favored live bait heavily 20 to 1

Monday we went out to the rocks. Hooked a lot but 3/4 were small. Ended up with ~30 all between 12-14". We had live shrimp and when the action heated up one of us started throwing Vudu shrimp to save time rebaiting. We had a dolphin stalking our boat waiting for us to throw back small ones. At the end of the day we stopped by the rock dam near the marina and caught a few fat trout and a bull red before we ran out of shrimp.

Catching a ton of 11" trout is incredibly frustrating. Almost makes you want to risk getting caught.

Just got back in an hour ago and the fishing was terrible. Fished the Short and Long Rocks but water was filthy.

I fished the rocks Sunday. 35 nice trout and 5 reds. All the trout I caught were nice size. I did not have to throw any back. All on live shrimp.

I spent all weekend down there, there's a ton of 11" fish right now and also a frick ton of dolphins. As bad or worse than I've ever seen them, gonna start charging for sightseeing tours.

Bigger fish are comin and the lil ones will be 12+ soon

I struggled with small ones until I went all the way to the grass island and I kid you not all 16-18 inch trout.
