Does Honda negotiate off the MSRP on a “new” older ATV like a 2019. Looking for Honda rancher and trying to decide between new and old. See new 2019 around 6k and have seen used 2012 at 4K. Seems like I should just go new. Just wondering if any wiggle on MSRP. Any thoughts?

I bought a 2020 Rancher about 10 months ago. Matter a fact, I got a thread going right now about it.

Go to Brookhaven Honda and buy what you want. Their prices will beat 99% of others. The 1% that they don’t beat, have fun driving.

I searched high and low, for months. This is just the easiest and quickest way.

I’ll reply more specifically to your question.

If you want to know if a 2019 is a good deal, use ATVTRADER.com. Get an idea of country wide pricing and take it to your local dealer. If you’re looking for current models, Brookhaven.

Dealers have New 2019 bikes still for sale. Just trying to figure out pricing. I would rather buy new since used market seems unreasonable.

No they don't.

No one has them , much less the biggest Honda dealer in the country.

Right now is NOT the time to buy new unless you have a good long standing relationship with a dealer. Nobody is discounting below cost right now...because they don't have to.

A 420 4x4 in February was 4799 at brookhaven.

That wont happen again until we're back to normal.

Yeah it was tough to find one. I ended up getting one at the Honda Dealership in Natchez. They put me on a list and let me know when they got some in. I ran up there and bought it. They were def more than Brookhaven (not by a lot) but you couldn't find them anywhere and I needed to get in one for hunting season. Wasn't willing to try the used market. For the price difference I'll just buy a new one and go from there.

Close friend of mine sells polaris in NE MS. I was in his place last friday and he had one 4 wheeler on the floor and there was a man and woman there buying it when I left.

He said that just like his gun (he sells both in his store) they sell as soon as they hit the floor or counter.

OP, if you can find one you better buy it, if you really want it right now.

Polaris does allow you to preorder and will prioritise your purchase.

Pity their 4wheelers suck

Ok, this was what I wanted to know. So basically, if I want it now I’m going to pay about 1 k more than if I wait until after hunting season.

This was on Brookhaven’s website which is why I mentioned the 2019. It was showing that they didn’t have used inventory so I assumed it was new.

They advertise that so you call.

They haven't had 19s in a long time. My little cousin got a 20 in the beginning of the year from them at that price.

All dealers do that to skirt MAP pricing.

You can certainly get deals if you are patient. No different than buying a car and you can def play dealerships against each other. MSRP on my 4 wheeler was $5100. Called several places getting prices for a few days and eventually brookehaven honda had the best price of $3200 with a 2500lb winch installed. Was about to go get it when Halls Honda matched it which was only a 45 min drive vs 3 hour so got it there.

Brother just got a brand new old stock honda side by side MSRP 20K for $11800 2 weeks ago. It's a 2018 though but still came with the full warranty and all that brand new.

Exactly what type of rancher are you looking for? Manual or automatic? Color?

And made you pay freight setup and god knows what other made up fees.

Never buy from halls or nola powersports. No matter what they promise.

Not sure why you responded to me?

But if that's halls, plus freight, plus setup, plus the no lube surcharge

Brookhaven will be cheaper if they have an.
