I considered that design but had some concerns about its structural integrity. Did you have any problems with bending or flexing?

Power buy on the boat and the grass. I paid like $50 per 4 pannels last year.

One thing. You might want to trim your grass just alittle at the water line. Reason is to prevent from getting a cold wet arse on the ride back in. Don't ask me how I know.

Thanks for the heads up but I have already trimmed the grass. The pics were taken before I had the chance to trim. I still may shorten it a bit more.

no we were up that way just sunday but decided to bypass Pomme de Terre and head further north to scout. I always enjoyed hunting there, will it fill up by first split?

Unless we get some type of tropical depression that dumps a TON of rain, I highly, highly doubt it. I am not sure exactly where you hunt, but the lake may have some water...

Well done and if that motor runs at all then you got one helluva steal on the setup.

Hope it fills up eventually; had a great time hunting there last year. Everyone young and old alike were very nice.

I believe so, not too far from the launch...but it was in the main lake on the south end.

Nope. I'm not from Avoyelles myself (grew up in BR), but my dad is from Moreauville and my uncle grew up in Big Bend.

We access Pomme de Terre off Belson.

Pomme de Terre is dry? I almost made a road trip to there today, but wasn't feeling all that great.

No, my uncle grew up right off Belson and his mom's old house is still there on 451 and the property runs all the way back to Belson.
