So I am working in eastern Wyoming and am planning on doing some hiking/backpacking and mtn biking around these areas and was hoping for some suggestions on good trips/trails and advice based on some of your experiences. What have you got for me outdoor board? I will try to do multiple trips but can only do 5-6 days at a time. I dont plan to go to Yellowstone until August after the crowds thin out.

I heard there is some hot spring in Yellowstone that is like a hot tub so I want to try and check that out.

Also thinking about climbing one of the Tetons that isnt technical.

Jenny Lake in Tenton National Park is bad arse.

It's a 5 mile trail around the lake with a bunch of off shoots and other trails.

I have no backpacking experience there so I can't offer up any advice on any trails.

Any idea on which teton you'll climb? It'll give me something to read about.

Here's a trip report that has a little info. Seems straightforward and beautiful.

Not sure how dangerous rockfall is there. I noticed one guy had a helmet. Something to think about or ask a ranger about. I'd bring a compass along and get your bearings on the way up in case you get socked in on the way down.

If I remember correctly from when we were up there, you have to check in with the rangers and they give you a GPS tracker for any back county hiking/skiing.
