trying to figure out how to link the picture real quick. I live in mississippi and it looks a bit large to be a bob cat (we don’t have a picture of it’s head)

The black panther made it back from France already?

Edit; that's a big bobcat. Awesome animal.

never seen a bob cat with that short of hair and one solid color. scared the shite out of me. recently I found a dead fawns body parts in my back yard (her head and legs) so I am guessing that beast is the culprit.

okay so now that we have figured out it is a bobcat, how the hell do I get rid of it. I have 4 fawns coming to that spot every night and I dont care to lose another one. We have never had a bobcat out here (had plenty of coyotes)

The perspective may be off, but that thing looks pretty damn big-and it's in its summer coat.

Definitely a bobcat

You can see the short tail and spot on its sides (lower)

Why is your picture of your picture so crooked?

What does it mean? It means that every year we have a couple of these threads. They go like this:

1. I got one on camera that isn't a bobcat for what ever reason

2. Everyone looks at it and clearly sees it is a bobcat.

3. A few insist it is a cougar of some sort, generally a black one

4. People point out the science behind no such animal existing (black cougars)

5. Erryone gets mad.

Probably coyotes. Bobcats will try to cover up the carcass that remains generally.

Trying calling him fawn in distress call or dying rabbit.Motion decoy helps.I’ve had much better luck calling them in and shooting them than coyotes.
