I passed by it recently. Didn't see any duckweed, but the water is still pretty high.

Any good spots in there? I never seem to have any luck. Of course I usually kayak there when the water is low to avoid boat traffic

Hit or miss. I go because it's a very pretty place to fish.

It was definitely a miss this morning. One bream and one small bass. Water is high and as dirty as I've ever seen it there.
Some baw had a vicious looking/acting dog chained to the tailgate of his truck at the launch. Kind of strange.

In my opinion most beautiful bayou in da swamp. If you know where to look in the back good sac fishing. Small yearling bass anywhere. I grew up in that area. Wish the old camp ground was still ole great place to stay and fish

Anyone ever take a Pirogue or kayak and hop the weir into 3 mile?
