Has anybody been following the drama on Mississippi Whitetails FB group?

Idk if any of this is true but it's entertaining.
Heat the Grease is a show/wildlife management company I guess. This feller from it shot a big buck and put it all over facebook, including Mississippi Deer Hunters. He was then called out for photoshopping the buck. Things got heated and the post was deleted. The next day he posted a side by side of the photoshopped pic and the real picture. He said he photoshopped it as a social experiment to show people believe anything they read on facebook. He also claimed that he was going to be lawyering up to go after the folks defaming him on FB. People in that thread were saying that he photoshopped the deer since he shot it on a property he manages and did not want the landowner to recognize the buck.
There is a rumor now that he has been terminated from his contracted jobs as a management expert and confessed to poaching at least 2 deer.

Reminds me of he kid in AL who posted photos on his favorite bow hunting forum of him posing with a 160”+ buck, and started talking shite about how he kills the biggest deer on the forum, calling out people for disagreeing with him previously, etc.
Photos still had metadata attached, from 230am, four days before the season opened. Kid deleted everything and shut up real quick once that was pointed out.

Talked to my brother about it. The two I know were both doing the photoshopping. I actually only know one of them but am friends on Facebook with both of them. The main guy has the initials S.S.
The way it was explained me is that ole baw is/was a consultant for a couple weekend warriors. He was allegedly hunting these places during the week and when they poached something, they'd photoshop a kicker or extra tine in to throw off the landowner and claim it was killed on their own property.
He posted an edited pic on one forum, and an unedited pic on another on accident. Somebody caught it and called him out.

He failed, but is still trying to talk his way out of it.
It's pretty pathetic and greedy because they both already have access to some really nice Big Black land. The one I know deleted his FB looks like, but the main idiot looks to be going down with his ship.

Yeah. He has a lot to lose from this. He has a job, but I think he depended on consulting and peddling snake oil attractants and food plot blends to produce a good bit of income.

Stories like this is what has tainted deer hunting. Photoshopping a deer? Really? I blame social media and "prostaffing".
