I'm the same way basically. I only open carry on my own land and when I'm hiking in the woods/on the mountains.

Always concealed, never open. Nearly always cc when away from the house. What I carry and how depends on situation and clothing. When situation needs pocket carry, I'll have a Kahr CW380 in leather holster in right front pocket.

When situation doesn't need a pocket gun, I'll have a Kimber Micro 9 or Kahr CM9, both OWB.

If I'm hunting, it'll be a Taurus G2c (the gun the OB loves to hate ) or a Canik TP9 Elite SC. With any of them, I'll always have a spare magazine in the left front pocket.

My kids recently got me a Sig P365. Looking forward to the OWB ostrich leather holster to arrive. It'll mostly replace the 9mms and use the factory 10 round mags.

I just bought a Kahr CW9 for CC. I liked the price and look and like having something a little different from everyone else.

The Kahr will replace my snubnose, which I can’t shoot accurately, and my Canik TP9 SC Elite which I love but is too chunky for CC.

I switch between a USP 45 compact and a CZ P01 or a Ruger lcp max 380 when I'm jogging or taking out the garbage. The Hk is my favorite.

How do you like the Kahr CW9? Since I also have that Canik, how do the two guns compare?

Unless I'm in the woods or working at the farm where I'll carry my Glock 34, I cc one of my Glock 19s or 27 daily.

I have been meaning to make this same thread, now that you can CC without the license there is no reason not to. Going to get the wife a gun for home defense and CC for myself.

Curious how difficult it is to actually conceal carry in the summers.

Have heard the Hellcat recommended a bunch.

I carry a Glock 43x all summer long in a kydex holster 8 o’clock position I’m a lefty.
I wear it with shorts and polos, fishing shirts and dry fit shirts. I don’t wear extremely form fitting clothes but don’t wear a vest or anything like some guys do.
If I have ever been busted I dont know it,,, must folks have zero situational awareness and are to busy on their phones to notice if you had a ruger super redhawk in your pants.

I did too. Glad I finally bought one. I was carrying the Glock 48 for a while, but this is so much more comfortable and easier to carry.

Yeah I hate the feel of a bulky pistol. I want the smallest pistol I can shoot accurately.

It’s too bad I can’t hit shite with my snubnose bc it’s perfectly comfortable for carrying. I don’t have experience with other snubnoses so not sure if the problem is me or the gun. It’s a Taurus 605 poly protector. The trigger is so long and heavy I just can’t get used to it. I have a full size revolver which shoots much better so I think it’s just that gun.

There are a stupid number of really good subcompact 9s available right now. Hellcat is a good choice but you owe it to yourself to look at several. Sometimes a handgun just clicks, and the one that clicks for Jimmy might not be the best choice for Joe.

If you wear a shirt untucked OWB is easy in the summer, but I do have a pocket carry LCP when OWB just doesn't work.
