The M&P Shield, Kahr CM9, and Springfield XDs are better.
That was Beretta's first striker-fired handgun ever. It was a good first effort and it's nice, but I've heard of issues with the trigger not resetting. It also has very blocky dimensions compared to the others I listed.
I've held one and wasn't impressed. The trigger is heavy, the gun is blocky, and it's just uncomfortable.
Don't take this as me not being a Beretta fan though. My first handgun was a Beretta 90 two and I love it. This just isn't their best product.

I rented one and enjoyed it but the bore axis is way too high which on some guns may not be an issue but on a pocket type gun, it can be uncomfortable to shoot.
I did not mind the trigger though and I did love the de-horned exterior. It seemed like a perfect carry profile.
I ended up getting the Kahr P9 which I love.

The 92fs is a great piece and I love mine, but it is out of this classification.
The Nano is a polymer framed, single stack, striker fired, subcompact handgun.
The 92fs is a metal frame, double stack, hammer fired, full sized handgun.
