I'm in the market to grab a gun safe. Aiming to stay in the $700-$800 range, but where/what are some good recommendations? Is there a season when a better deal can be snagged, perhaps Black Friday? More than likely I'll be getting a 20count capacity just to account for picking up more guns over the years

At 700-800 you can get a nice 48 gun Cannon from Tractor Supply. Trust me. 20 gun capacity WILL NOT be enough! A few years ago I lucked into an $899 64gun Cannon at Tractor Supply for 699 thanks to their price match guarantee on an inferior 64gun Cannon from Academy.

(tractor supply's has a 75min fire rating while academy's had a 45 min rating).

Capacities are listed as "Up to". Consider scoped rifles as 1-1/2 to 2 guns depending on the height of the scope and AR type rifles can take up 3 spaces. Then in my safe there are only a few slots that'll accommodate shotgun length barrels.

This is my 64 Gun Safe with 8 rifles and 1 shotgun in it plus pistols on the door back and hanging from pistol hangers. As you can see, depending on what all you want to put in it, space fills up quick!

I have a 64 Cannon from Tractor Supply. Right near Thanksgiving there will be a sale and it will be $300 or so off the tagged price.

Gun safes hold half the number of rifles they advertise.

There is a liberty safe outlet here so if you need to take a trip to the smokies bring your truck. Pretty good deals.

20 count capacity is tiny. I wouldn't even waste my time buying a safe that small. If you have more than 5 guns, plan on running out of space and wishing you would have gotten a larger safe.

I love my tractor supply Cannon safe. I had a liberty at my first house and sold it before moving and am very pleased with the Cannon.

With the Cannon (or any other E-lock safe), are any of yall worried about the electronic pad going bad something like that? That is my biggest worry and I think I am just being paranoid.
I'm also in the market for a safe like the OP.
