Happy Friday Charters, Shawn Whitney
Lloyd Landy
Bill Lake
Travis Lovell
Marty Lacoste
Send him to Dularge. They can fish specks and reds and when they done with that maybe even get in some Marsh Bass.
Another Option that would be cool us Cajun Experience out of Morgan City. They pretty much being you do everything you want. Frigging, Jug Lining, Running Crab traps.
You could also get them a nights stay on the Chandeluer Islander. Ride out in a taxi boat to a Jack Up Boat in the Chandeleur Islands, fish that afternoon on one of there boats, eat and stay on the boat that night, and fish the next morning.

I’m not going to say the guides name because I really don’t think it was them. But I will say it is one of the bigger / well known services down there, that came very highly recommended.
HR&G has cell phone guides especially during the fall/winter
Decent fishermen but they fish around and wait til the cell phone rings and tell them where to fish
During the winter they take their clients to the weirs to catch redfish. The first one gets there, catches a limit, calls the other over and gives him the spot, rinse and repeat

Chris Wilson with Rivers End Charters. Venice. My nickname for him is “Troutzilla”.
The advantage of Venice is that with so much water to fish, you can normally move around no matter the direction of the wind.
My $.02.
You will have a great time with anybody of the guys mentioned, I am sure.

Not sure if this is gonna trigger Kemo or not but it is true. However, the process works. I mean if you have that many boats on the lake under the same brand, why not take advantage of it? Also, Fall but not so much Winter is chasing birds anyway and that is more find birds working and fish. Not really a cell phone game then.
I really like HR&G. Great guys and great owners. I also have fished with Kevin Broussard and the guys at Trout Mouth and enjoyed those trips as well.

I recommend either Travis Lovell or Travis Miller out of Dularge. The Reel Inn lodge is right across the street from their boat slips.

If you want to offer your boys a real treat, send them to fish with Ron Price and overnight in his lodges. His entertainment/dining hall he has just completed took a great operation to new heights, and no one works harder to put his folks on the fish. I’ve taken my sons multiple times, always been great.

Everyone talks to one another not just the Gun guys.
Fall/Winter is the easiest time of the year to find and catch trout.
While I don’t agree with saving spots for other guides when reds have been there prior it happens. If your buddy is next to you it’s a different story.
More times I have had guys follow me around and totally fubar a drift or come in on the wrong side of the birds. Yep it sucks to drive 2 hours and watch a boat catch fish but it happens.
Took the drunk tiger flounder fishing and a yahhoot from laffy pulled a boat length away. We were catching every cast and he could’ve had our spot but he got jelly. I left after the tide stopped so he screwed himself with out me cussing him.

Try Kris’s fishing Charters out of Lafitte. He has a nice houseboat on the water. He will treat you right.

That's just special service. Going above and beyond for the client. Fishing trip and a BJ for the 18 yr would be spectacular
