Have any of you boys ever hunted birds at Grosse Savanne or know anyone who has? If so, how were the ducks / geese (not the lodge)?

I have a buddy who guides there. Typically their numbers are pretty good across the board. I know they smashed the teal earlier this season. Said buddy was sending me pictures of limits almost everyday.

They kill but prep thy anus. They aren’t cheap. However it is one of the finest operations on the Gulf Coast and their bass pond is off the hook.

I've gotten invited to go 2 or 3 times and had schedule conflicts every damn time, I think I wore out my invite by having to turn it down, now I never get invited anymore

I heard the bass fishing there was unreal as well

Thanks guys! Appreciate the feedback. For the downvoters, I promise my post wasn’t a subtle brag. I’m wondering how many problems I should cause myself in order to go if the hunting sucks and it’s just a nice B&B.

Out of this world cuisine and accommodations. Pricey but worth it imo. They had a make shift place after one of the hurricanes tore up the original location. Still awesome. Didn't have the bass/white perch pond when I went, will try next time.

Amazing teal season hunts. 3 man limit in 45 minutes max. Great redfishing and heard about legendary bass pond.
