Good gun shops in Denham Springs/Port Allen?

I’m from BR and in the market for a new AR. I’ve been to Jim’s a few times in the past and I’m not really a huge fan of their selection or staff, so I’m thinking about just making the trip to a surrounding area and grabbing some lunch and hopefully finding a good store to use in the future. Any suggestions?

Hebert guns in prarieville. Went there for the first time and the staff there seemed pretty cool and intelligent

If you looking for a place that will help with all your questions, then I'd drive to Hammond and hit Interstate Guns. I've never left that store feeling that the staff didn't have time for their customers. I live in Prairieville and have no problems driving to Hammond. But if you looking to put your mits on all types of ARs, then just hit Cabela's or Bass Pro.

BJ Pawn in Denham(pawn is in the name but they have a huge gun room with a great selection with the best prices around.

Selection is great, prices and most of the staff sucks.
