Good app for tidal movement, best times to fish, saltwater, south Louisiana

This is what I use. A guy out of lake Charles I believe put it together. All this data exists in other places but he put it in one spot that has everything I need and can pick different stations throughout the coast. Also have a free app and a paid version for longer term forecast.

Honestly, tide guides are just guesses and are as wrong as your local weather guy. Have seen it roll out one morning and roll in the next many times. IMO, you’re better off figuring out where to fish on incoming and outgoing. Agile Mobile & Versatile, throw in some wind and water clarity for good measure.
Last, when on big lake do what you see the big lakeans doing.
If you see a guy slamming trout on plastics switch, there’s a reason why they aren’t throwing live bait! If you don’t catch a trout in the first 10 min don’t leave if there are boats anchored up. If there a multiple guide boats on anchor they found some fish, keep grinding.
