Golf Cart Battery

Long story short, myself and 5 cousins are going in to each buy a battery for an elderly relative’s golf cart so she can ride back and forth to my aunts house as she’s accustomed to. It takes 6 batteries total.
I was told Trojans are the route to go. Looks like they run ~$125 a piece.
Where is the best place to purchase golf cart batteries in south Louisiana?
TIA

Costco
Convert to 3 twelves unless she has to ride 60 miles between charges

I’d call local golf cart shops. Trojans are the best and will run you around $130. Tell MawMaw to keep that thing charged up and they’ll last years.
Costco has interstate 8 Volts for $105, I looked at them this week. I’d go Trojan if replacing all though.
Also.... Make sure those terminals stay tightened up. I had a loose one I didn’t know about and it melted the frick out of my battery post. Gonna be an expensive lesson.

Also keep them clean. They will rot out at the connector too!
OP, saw a guy that posted on Craigslist selling Trojan 6V batteries for $95 apiece .. You have to bring in the old ones or there is a core charge. That was on Baton Rouge list about a week ago, sporting goods section. Was a golf Cart store.

If she’s not going very far could probably get by with 4- 12 volt trolling motor batteries.

I just bought 6 new batteries two weeks ago. Smart Carts in Breaux Bridge had the best prices that I found, $93+tax. Definitely go through a local dealer and get Trojans, as they are the best.
