Glands from dead bucks?

Anybody ever cut these off and use them? Get some so stanky you could squeeze the piss out of them. Bag and refrigerate then use as a drag.
Did it last year and it was legit. Was tying them to a string in the dark and had a young 6 come running in. Drug it through a field and small patch of woods and that 6pt ran around crazy all morning looking for that other buck.
I have a set I'm gonna try this evening
