Planning a trip to GI for Thanksgiving. A few questions.
Will be fishing mostly in-shore, perhaps near-shore and to the visible rigs weather permitting. Boat is a SH 25 BX.
Is late Nov fishing good?
How is the crowd on Grand Isle T-giving week?

Cobia at the close in rigs could be on fire. If you get some calm conditions. Water typ will be pretty at that time of year.

Crowd? Island will be empty the week of Thanksgiving. If the weather is nice, go fish West Delta platforms starting in 70' of water.

Where can I find coordinates for them?

Edit: found them, thanks.

You’ll have the entire Gulf of America to yourself, everyone will be chasing deer and ducks.

Fall fishing is great. Island will be empty. I would fish further inland or Belle Pass for specks. Close in rigs should be empty too. Mangroves on live shrimp.

Rocks in front of the island. Busted big trout one year as we could just troll around them like we were bass fishing. Great trip
