What’s OB approved gas cans these days? All the ones on the farm have about given out. Tried the racing cans or whatever you call them last go round. They were better than fighting the vent free ones. Had a few split at seam handles and the hose/nipple go to sh!t pretty quick. They like to turnover in the truck too. Anything better?

I have 10 of these I have had for about 12 years now. I carry them in the back of my 97 f250 to/.from a ranch in Mexico. They sit outside in the sun probably 4-5 weekswith gas in them. I also use them at home for ZTR, a couple of 4 wheelers, etc.. Never had a problem with any of them splitting and the ones that were "white" are now yellowed pretty good.

To keep them from turning over I welded up a simple little box out of 3/4" tubing that holds them in groups of 4 in the back of the truck. I am curious as to what 5 gallon gas can had previous experience with that doesn't turn over. I've never heard of one that doesn't turn over. All of them have to be sercured somehow if the road is bumpy and/or not smooth. . That is my experience.

I've had pretty good success with the no spill gas cans and the extender that can be bought separately. It's so frustrating that the government has made gas cans such a huge pain in the arse to use.

You can thank your government for that.

That stupid fricking rule results in more fricking gas being spilled because of the damn bullshite “no-spill” spouts. In the decades before we never had a problem using a funnel and/or spout.

Someone should sue them over it with chevron changing. Bastards.

I buy the cheap wal mart 5 gallons and throw that stupid black top away. I buy new spouts on Amazon and drill a vent. Works well enough.

fricking scammers, the gaskets are shite.

I buy a rubber gasket at Ace and it makes it work great. Usually get about 3 years out of the gasket and then I just replace them.

You can also buy replacement vent valves from amazon to replace theirs when it breaks.

I really hate those cans you have to have 3 hands to work. Designed by someone who has never used a gas can.

Blitz gas cans. I probably have 10. Bought em all off market place. Keep ‘em out of the sun and they will last forever. Install a vent on the back from tractor supply and that’s money dude.

Those wavians look so nice. I guess if I was gonna spend 50 bucks on a gas can I would spend just a little little bit extra to get the wavian

I’ve had them knock over, get dropped from truck bed and other abuses and no-spills and keep on ticking. Pricey, but worth it long term.

If Harris wins the whitehouse it will be 100x worse with her and her socialist VP choice.

Eagle, Justrite, Surecan, or NoSpill. I have all of those except a Justrite and they are all good cans. I use a small 1.25 gallon NoSpill for 2-stroke fuel mix, a 2.5 gallon Surecan and 5 gallon NoSpill and Eagle cans for regular gasoline. The 2.5 gallon is used by my fiancée for the most part to fill a lawn mower and she really likes it as it's easy to control the fuel flow.
