It’s my understanding this would be considered a “Gen 1” set up.

The 93sv is on sale now and the sales guy is telling me it’s a good deal if you’ve never had one or don’t have to have the newest livescope. Something about 50hz? frequency versus 56… He says he can’t tell much of a difference between the two anyway.

All equipment is brand new. $2600 plus tax (approximately $2900) with install including the attachment to move the transducer independent of the trolling motor.

Good deal, fair deal or what?

I've had the 93SV for a couple of years. I mainly crappie fish. Its a lot of fun.
He is probably referring to the difference between the original LS32 and the newer LS34. I have the 32 and its more than enough in regards to image etc. Bass Pro has the 93SV for $699 right now and the Live scope transducer system. Transducer and black box for $999. I installed mine , it wasn't difficult. I run mine off my trolling motor. I tried a pole mount and I didn't care for it personally.

Yes. I couldn’t remember the numbers, but you’re correct it’s the ls32. Not the 34.

32 shorter distances is fine especially if you're just getting into it. Majority of sacalait fisherman have the 32 because they only set their distance to 50ft or so anyhow. The reason pros use the 34 (and even the 62 saltwater version) is it's got better clarity at distance. Here's a comparison video, I got the 34 because at this rate Garmin isn't going to release an updated one for sometime. YT Video

If you do want to swap to the 34 in the future all you've gotta do is swap the transducer out and plug it into your black box, rest of the setup is identical.

If he's wanting $2600 for a 93 with the lvs 32 he's almost 1k too high. The price for install and independent pole may be worth that if you aren't comfortable installing and depending on the type of pole and your boat. Install is not hard but it takes a little time.

Scheels has the 93sv for $699. Basspro has the lvs 32 for $999. So your paying $900 extra for the install. Watch some vids on youtube and install yourself. My lvs 32 is on a pole.

I currently have both the LVS32 and 34 on my boat. I can tell you the 32 is easier to use in Forward Facing than the 34. The cone is larger which makes it easier to see your bait and I primarily bass fish. I have no problem seeing my bait out to 100’. I run the 34 in perspective mode as it’s a cleaner more defined picture than the 32 in perspective. My little brother is a big crappie guide up here in North Louisiana and he runs the 32 on his rig.

Another thing is if you buy from an out of state company like Chaddy Boys or he Hennessey Outdoors you don't sales tax and can save some cash.

If you're local to a basspro/cabelas they'll install the graph, mount the black box, and run all the wires for around $250

I got harassed by a bank fisherman yesterday because he saw my LiveScope while I was fishing. I was wondering if I was a MAGA and he was a Karen or I was me and he was MAGA?

Some of those fancy pole that they mount the transducer on are pretty pricey so could be driving the price up a little too.

High for the last generation. Piles of them on Market Place and ebay, new or used, for less than $2k. Used around me for around $1k. If that's the price with a black box they are around $1700 (black box) and the 9" 93Sv is around $700 so it is about what they are everywhere.

I have 3 Ultra USV 106SVs (they're 10 inch units), a black box and LVS34 Transducer, 3 GT54 Transducers and 1 GT56 Transducer, all brand new in the box. There would be little to no reason to use the GT54 transducers but it may be possible to sell them. All in thats about $5200 less tax without the GT54s at BPS today. If someone offered me $5000 for them I would consider it. I have had them for nearly a year and haven't installed them because I have more or less lost interest in doing so.

This. I thought there was another live scope transducer since the LVS34 came out. BPS has that set up for $1699 today.

If not banned it'll very likely be limited. BASS said they're going to make a decision after this Elite Season on FFS And 360 for the following seasons.

Zaldain posted a video on his Youtube channel and some Elite Series guys were running more than six transducers on their rigs (two FFS, 360, two FFS on their power poles, two side imaging ones). With the screens they were in over $50k in just the screens and transducers. It's gotten so ridiculous even BASS, whose main sponsors are FFS companies, know there needs to be limits.
