They only have two publicized data plans.

4500 HD images per month called the weekend warrior
Or
9000 HD images to your phone called the Trophy Hunter.

The other non published plans are the for the Ranch Program for users who have more than 12 smart cams.
And
The field staff plans.

The damn kicker is every camera is another 100, I run 6 cell cams but don't need near that many pics.

TactCam is significantly cheaper.

I’m still trying to decide.

Either going to covert or wise guy. Can’t make my mind up

I only have 3 minis and they are expensive. The data plan is expensive. The cameras have worked great. I called customer service once at setup and a baw in Denham Springs answered and solved my issue quickly. I don’t have enough time in yet to know if they are worth the money. They are the only cell cams I’ve ever used. I’m willing to pay more for good shite. If they hold up I will be adding more to the farm.

I need a cell camera that I can request it to take and send picture on demand. Is this something that can be done with most cell cams? Currently trying to find out if the tactacam has that ability but not east to find if it does or doesn't have it.

Here is an analysis I did last year. I looked at 5 year total cost of camera and data plan. First image is buying 1 camera and second is buying 3. Data plans are the hidden cost.

(1) camera cost for 5 years

(3) camera cost for 5 years

The only camera that I personally know of that you can remote force it to take a picture and send it is the Spartan GoLIVE. I have one of those and three of the M cams.

The Tactacam only will do a check in picture. I have mine set to send a picture at 8am and 8pm so I can at least know if it is working. A good feature since I haven't gotten any deer pictures but at least I know the camera is working.

Tactacam now has an option for on demand pictures for an additional $9/month. I haven’t tried it

check in picture.

Well that would work too. I already liked the price tag of the tactacam anyway. And sounds like for 9$/mo I could maybe get exactly what I want.

My father has some land in east ms and we just repaired yet again a road that crosses a troublesome creek. Wanted to be able to checkin so see if debris is blocking the culvert or just how its handling any large rains.
