The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming and is legally considered in any court of law.

The same applies for any private piece of ground in that area. They're all carrying too many deer. WQ's simply made the mistake of cooperating with LDWF and asking for assistance.

It’s been the same at Henderson, Davis, etc. the biologist tell them to kill X number of does. And they don’t do it, ever. Thats what they are guilty of. But importing deer makes a better story to the low IQ

yes, thx.

We have too many deer too and are taking steps to legally whack and stack. Problem is I see just as many young bucks as does. I get that does are the ones that replicate though.

Heard the story of the deer farm near Buckhorn WMA whose gates where left open by a disgruntled family member several years ago?

Again a La Dept of Ag failure to monitor, and penalize. They even had elk escape. WQ isn't the only ones deserving blame. It's the hunters, farmers, and small businesses left picking up the pieces.

Lots of things have been swept under the rug by clubs, deer farms, LDWF, and La Dept of Ag in this state.

You won’t get any argument from me over the blame that could be placed on high fence operations. I’m 100% opposed to them. I believe the harm they can cause far outweighs the money generated in regard to the wild deer population, especially if they’re selling live deer

I would think people would know that these deer cross the river all the time. Warren County in Mississippi found CWD in 2021. Claiborne County right across the river from Tensas had a positive case in Feb of 2024. Prions were found in the soil in Claiborne County Mississippi in June 2023. The first case of CWD in Mississippi was found in Feb of 2018. So, this thought that CWD originated in Tensas parish and is spreading everywhere else is just wrong.

While it may be rare and not the case for a lot of the River clubs. Deer from OOS have been brought in before and released. Some in places you would not really think, like my home parish.

Also the Blakchawk high fence in Concordia has numerous deer escape back in the day.

One section of property in Tensas parish has had more pisitive cases. Why isnt that that happening with Madison or East Carroll parishes along the river? Deer swim the river along those parishes as well back and forth to MS side.

I have seen the email. Mississippi recommended all island clubs reduce their herds by 50%. The one I visit did not take the recommendation. As of that time in 2024, all positive CWD tests were from licking branches and soil. If any deer were tested positive, that would have been after September of 2024. None of us killed a deer last season, so I know nothing about what testing that club is doing.

Lol, how many have they tested along the river in Madison? I'm gonna tell you it is there, you just have to test enough to find it. One section of property? It's 8000 acres right on the river that volunteered to do testing, probably realizing it has been in Mississippi close to them the year before. Now, people not knowing that are calling out club members at Winter Quarters and accusing them of all kinds of things. Now, I am not saying that was you, but the thought that this just magically occurred from one property out of nowhere is delusion. What you should be asking is how many other places along the river have volunteered for testing. I would imagine not many, because they don't want the heat from it. Did you even know that Miss had cases of CWD right across from Winter Quarters? I am going to guess you didn't.

Did you know the % of positive cases at WQ is much higher than in MS? Guess those deer only swim one way huh? From MS to the LA side. Lmao

Deer farms should be illegal, but it is too late now.

You pulled that out of your backside. You didn't even know there were cases in Miss until 5 min ago.

Take your bs elsewhere.
