We went jugging Saturday night and they had a pekin duck with a leg injury that couldn't move at the boat launch. So I took the duck thinking I could go drop it off at LSU. I then learned that apparently they put some of the wild animals to sleep that people drop off. The duck is very well socialized he will let you pet him and shite. If anyone from this board wants him that could nurse him back that would be great or should I just bring him to LSU or is there another option? Help

I don't know about nursing back to health but there is a large pond at my parents house that he could probably survive pretty well in. I can do what I can and see what my dad can do. He is pretty good with these kind of things, once nursed a buzzard and a crow back to health.

Where are you located?

roasted pekin duck might be one of easier great tasting things I've ever had cooked for me. Literally just olive oil, salt, and pepper. Came out perfect.

Let burger man take him or ask family friends who have small ponds if they want a duck.

I'm right outside Baton Rouge. I'll travel to meet you or whatever needs to be done. I'd rather not leave him at LSU it feels like a death sentence for the duck and the duck is way to cool to do that to him/her.
