TST is running pretty good deals where you get an accessory and the bike for like $850

Its a smaller wheel bike with 25 mile range and tops out at 28mph (more than enough)

Put mine together last night and it took about an hour.

I understand the quality difference between a $4k e-bike and this one....but the TST will do what I need at 1/4 the price.

EF was right. E-bikes are to public land what mobility scooters are to Walmart.

I have one of the Ditch Bird DIYs and the only thing I wish I had done differently was get a 24" wheeled frame. The smaller tires are the way to go on ebikes.

ETA: I wish they'd ban them completely on public. I like mine for around the house. I don't even use my truck anymore. I just load the bike up at the house and ride to where I'm hunting. I get some odd looks riding through the historic district of St Fran with my bow on my back

Yup. Fat people are now able to hunt where they never have before.

No more so than ATV's on public.

LDWF at least restricts e-bike use on WMA's to only be legal on designated ATV trails and to retrieve downed game

I have enough trouble hiking where I hunt, I can't see an e bike being remotely workable

I don't use them on public. But around my house and my private land, it's been a game changer. Nice getting to a tree and climbing it without already sweating my arse off.
