Dumb question. What kind of license do i need for fishing brackish water. Salt? Fresh? Both? I'm in S.C. but i'm sure that it's standard everywhere.

I have both but we're having a debate at work. Looking at the site is a little unclear

In LA all fishing south of the intracoastal waterway you have to have both iirc.

And includes lakes Pontchartrain and Maurepas, but it's not so much that you have to have both, but that you can't get a saltwater without freshwater.

FYI we got the answer. Called DNR and they said it depends on the side of the "line" that you're fishing on. For SC anything west of HWY17 is consider fresh. East is salt.
