Fished Lake Martin this weekend

My family has a camp in Butte La Rose so I usually fish the Basin, but since it was Crawfish Festival weekend I went down and gave Lake Martin a try even though I haven't had a ton of success there and it's not really peak season. Did fairly well in the 6 hours I was out there. Caught about 7 bream, 4 chinquapin, and a bass.

Was the 4 chinqs part of the 7 bream, or were there 11 bream in total?

11 in total, I should have made that more clear.

Used to slay bass on that lake back in the 1980s. For a few years I fished from April until June. Bass were still full of eggs into late April. It was good when there was hydrilla.

I haven’t been in a while. Man, it’s feast or famine in that lake. But I’ve had a few good trips in the past!
