Most adults will eat 4-5 pieces if you have a couple of sides with it. Also depending on size of filets of course

Go to a restaurant and order the catfish plate. Eat until you're full and then multiply that time the number of people.

I'd say 4 fillets per person would be plenty.

1/2 to 3/4 of a pound per person. Women will not eat as much as a man.

When I fry fish at the house i do 2 lbs for my family of 4 of we normally have a couple pieces left over. I typically have sides with it as well. Either fries or white beans or we eat it on french bread.

*8 pieces per Person. ( this would be a trout fillet cut in half)

A quart of frozen fish is good for 4-5 people.

We had one for a guys night a couple of weeks ago. There were maybe 30 men there, and most had at least 3-4 pieces. These were catfish fillets of a decent size. Of course we had slaw, beans, bread, and a pile of desserts to go with it. Some of us went back for seconds maybe an hour later.

All pcs should always be cut to same size regardless of size of fillet. I agree 4-5 pcs a person

Very important! Ensures they cook evenly.
