Looking at purchasing a 2017 Tahoe 1950 deck boat. Tested it today and it was in great condition and ran well. Will probably be getting engine checked out before purchasing. My question is how do you know what to offer. He has it listed at 26k. I’m thinking of offering 22k since it probably needs to have impeller replaced and also a tune up.

On another note, has the boat market started to finally cool off some? Housing in SLA is finally lagging some, wonder if bay boats will also.

Boat Trader.com has a price tool and you can look for similar boats listed prices.

If he doesn’t have to sell it it should bring ask as clean as it is. What’s condition of trailer?
Your offer isn’t lowball and he probably counters at $24k.
DIY, plugs, filters, water pump, fluids will set ya back $300. Anodes should be fine but check all of them and replace if needed.

Trailer was in good condition but not really used. I’ll basically only use it to bring to our lake and then store trailer. Private lake so I don’t have to register the boat
