Been wanting to get a Tikka for several years and with the new T3x out you can find some great deals on the original T3 right now. Got the synthetic stock blued barrel T3 in 300 WSM from Buds for $467 today! That's pretty damn cheap. Thinking a Meopro to top it off. Merry Christmas to me. LoL

Good deal. Even better since they went on clearance.

My mom and step dad shoot the 25.06 T3. That has to be one of the sweeting shooting little rifles made. It's like shooting a damn .22 but will put a hell of a lick on a deer. Very few deer have had to be trailed more than 20-30 yrds.

I have the exact same rifle and it's a shooter. Mine loves 165gr Barnes Vor-tx. It isn't a fun gun to shoot though

Have one in .270 running 130gr core lokts and I love it. Been thinking about switching ammo, but I don't really know what I would switch to.

Might be a little too pricey for what you like but 130gr nosler trophy grade accubonds are stupid accurate and bangflop deadly

Already ordered the Meopro 6-18x50 but after seeing this thread is went and bought a Tikka T3 Hunter 300wsm. Can't buy a new scope and not get a new gun to match it. What's the best load for whitetail and hogs?

Let me know how you like that combo. I'm looking hard at the Meopro. But I've always liked Nikons so I'm thinking that too. I have zero experience with Meopta, how much better than a good Nikon can it be?

I'm kinda concerned about recoil. I'm a really big dude though. How's it compared to a 30-06?

My scope won't be here until Wednesday. My buddy has a the Nikon Monarch 3 that I'm going to compare it to. From everything I've read the Meopro glass is on another level. I hope it's true because I was actually quite impressed with his Monarch. I will let you know how they compare.

I'm about to order a Limb Saver recoil pad. I've been told it will make a very noticeable difference on recoil.

Good job. You will not be disappointed. Best trigger on a factory rifle I've ever shot.

Definitely my next purchase. Shot 14 rounds of 270wsm a couple weeks ago and felt to for 3 days. And that is a wood stock version.

Id imagine that 300 with glass stock will put a hurting on you.

I have a tikka t3 stainless lite with the meopro 6-18x50 as well. Love that gun. Scope is 100% bad arse. I need to adjust mine tho, above 15x it's too out of focus where it currently sits. You can see a mile with that scope.

A limbsaver is a great decision. I put one in my 300 WM and I can't shoot it all day. I shoot 2 boxes usually when I'm at the range. I did have shoulder surgery years ago and my shoulder is more sensitive now that it was. To compare I can shoot my 270 about 10-15 times before I have to call it quits. I don't have a limbsaver on that. Plan on it just haven't yet
