Fill mud needed

Anyone have a good contact they used for fill mud, preferably spillway mud and not sand. I would need atleast 24-36 yards of dirt and i've been getting around $175-200 per 12 yard load. If you've had good experience with someone and they are reasonable, let me know. This is in the New Orleans/Metairie area.

I ordered from a website called sandnsoil.com. There was a coupon code which gave me $34 off. Ended up being $130 delivered same day. It was super clean river sand and their customer service is great.

Just curious, why do folks from New Orleans call dirt "mud"?
Is it because it's never really in dirt form down there?
Fyi Nola folks, the rest of the world calls dry mud "dirt".

If someone delivered 14yds of "mud" to my yard I'd be pissed.

As for the reason I call it mud, unless you are truly getting dirt, what we excavate from the Mississippi River and other places to use for fill could be a combination of dirt and hard clay, which I consider mud. I may be alone on that but just what I call it.

I always thought mud was dirt + water

I chuckled when my friend from NOLA told me he went to Lowe’s and bought 3 bags of mud for his flowerbeds.
