6 foot 3 rail treated pine fence. Post every 8 foot set in concrete. Total of about 300 feet. I am getting quoted about 13.50 a foot for material and install. Does this seem like a solid deal?

It's only 300 feet. You can't do that yourself?

Sounds pretty high to me. I wanna say somewhere around $8-10 per linear foot is what I've heard.

That is about the price I was quoted for my 300LF of fence. If you have the time, for half that price, me and a few buddies put mine up in a weekend. Rented and auger for 1 day. Saturday was setting the 4x4 post and Sunday was screwing the runners and the fence boards. My 12' (6'x6' double gate) and a few things here and there were done the following weekend. It was well worth saving $2k

About 3200 including everything would be fair

I paid $15 for 120 ft of 6 ft pine with 3 runners and 4x4 posts.
I did not have the time to do it so I paid for it. I could have done it for about $8/ft myself including renting the auger and all.

300ft ain't nothing. Do it yourself. I did it earlier this year around 700ft. Took about 2 weeks in the freezing cold weather with only the night time to work. Reminds me when I was younger and walking up those hills in the cold just to get the paper. Bah! Happier times.

I built one 300ft last summer. 3 rail, all treated pine with 4x4's 8ft apart. Built 3 gates for right under $3,000.

That sounds right...I was quoted $15-16 for cedar installed

I normally charge around 14 a foot. 13.50 isnt bad at all.
