Was looking at the dowel wizard or dowl it 1000. Any experience with either of these or have a recommendation for another one?

I don’t have one.
I’ve only needed one once for a door I made for a our screened porch. For anything else I do either biscuits or mortise and tenon.

Well I don't think I'm ready for dovetails. Maybe box joints but I don't have a table saw so have to be by hand.
But was going use dowels for blanket chest for the side boards and future kitchen table for bread boards. My just get a kreg jig and do pocket holes and try box joints

The kreg jig pocket holes is pretty quick. I did some shed doors with them.
I’m doing a workbench now and using mortise and tenon. After a few times you get pretty quick at it and it’s not too bad doing it by hand.
I’m planning to do a mortise and tenon coffee table and am practicing on other stuff first
I also got a harbor freight biscuit jointer and it’s pretty easy to use once I set it up correctly.

I am also looking to pick one up for a few projects BY LINK. I originally was just going to pick up the cheap one at Lowes but it gets such bad reviews it sounds like having nothing is better than having one of those.
