I suck at not getting a can of dip when I am about to go fishing even if I have "quit" for a month or two before

That's me when it comes duck season. Fishing doesn't really bother me too bad.

if you want to know how to SMOKE ribs...
1. cut the membrane off the bone side
2. marinate overnight in whatever dry rub (if you do dry rub)
3. get whatever wood you like to smoke it with, start slow smoke for 4-6 hours at a temp range of 215-245 depending on your grill/smoker itself. temp gauges vary on how they read, and some smokers are built with lots of areas where heat is lost.
4. try not to open it in that time frame except to rotate quickly 2-3 times. you let PRECIOUS heat out every time.
5. get meat thermometer, i believe internal temp needs to be around 165-175 to be safe to eat
6. be sure you add water to keep hydration good.
and that is my 30 second type up!

Not fishing today. Probably done for a while. I dislike summer.

I don't know anything about engines. I can barely change my oil. Wish it was different, but I'm just caught up in other stuff whenever I have free time.

You know my boat? Do I know you?

Not good at parking the boat at the dock in any kind of current/wind.
Not good at trolling and getting everyone into a good casting position.
Don't know how to work on engines. At all.
Was terrible at cleaning fish until this past weekend. It just clicked.
ETA: How about something you're good at that you picked up quickly and it surprised you? For me, skeet shooting. I've never been a hunter, deer or duck, but I caught on to skeet shooting really quickly.
