Of course its possible.

I would hope you wouldn't marry someone that had issues with your hunting/fishing habits though. I mean...while dating you can kind of weed out the ones who put up a fight over it right?

I don't mind *most of the time, and I LOVE to fish so I would be upset if I wasn't invited. I think it's a give and take though. My SO honestly wouldn't want to leave me every weekend to go hunt. The weekends are our only time to go out, hang with friends, go to dinner, etc.

We don't have kids yet but I will assume he will go hunting even less once that happens.

I guess my point is, find a woman who gets it and who also enjoys it, and yall can go together sometimes. Two birds with one stone.

The boys get to come when they out of school. Doesn't change anything. Bring the kids.

Definitely not. He does go whenever he gets invited, and I do encourage him to go. And then we usually both go fishing when we get an invite.

But he doesn't persue it.

But you see...I probably would have never dated a guy that lived and breathed hunting. I know it would cause conflict down the road, and I'm not hardcore into it.

So if you avoid the problem before it becomes one...you're all good.

I got a good one for sure. I don't hunt much anymore, but fish alot. The rules are her and the son are allowed to come along 40% of the time. They both are troopers and she can bait a hook, just not de-hook a fish. The other part of the rules are when I am here it is true quality time for the family and keep up with the with the chore list.

Too many rules brah.

My bisch can bait her own hook, de-hook any fish I've seen her do when I was around (still waiting on her to de hook a catfish though.) no pointers will be told to her from me about how to do it

I`ve never even tried to get her to skin her deer. Usually me or her dad is all over it before it`s even thought about. Just habit I guess.

Never taken her deer hunting. yet.

Not sure if I plan on it either.

She probably wouldn't have liked the time I've had to slit a deers throat or push his head underwater

or the point blank shots with a wounded doe with a .270.

but that's things we don't really tell the women folks

when I was dating my wife and we were living in South FL, I went fishing every Saturday for 13 weeks without a word from her. We were slaughtering the dolphin and she loved having the fresh fish (more than we could eat - I was giving it away). She would even drop me off and pick me up at my friends house that I went with in the event that I had too many cold ones while cleaning the fish and boat. Needless to say, I saved some $$$ for a nice ring and asked her to marry me. I knew I had a good one!

Been taking mine deer hunting about 5 years now. Mainly in the evenings with some colds beers of course. Finally talked her into taking a gun this year & her first evening she killed a 6 pt.
She's helped me skin alot of deer but she still gets sick when i gut them.
