Last week I was driving down the main road to the St Mark's lighthouse, and I pulled over because I wanted to take a picture of a nice view that I saw. As I am standing there about to take a picture, this cat exploded out of the marsh after some prey about 30 yards in front of me. It stood there staring at me for a few seconds before walking into the nearby hammock. Really cool experience.

Been many a good Junior High School mascot named after that creature. Beautiful animal. I love watching them when I'm in my climber bow hunting and they have no idea I'm there.

Fastest critter ive seen in the woods. Dead quiet, too. I love seeing them.

My back property line is a fire break with St. Marks. Have watched Bobcats from my office window just walking around maybe 6-7 times. St. Marks is a great place, as is this area of the world. LOTS of Bobcats on the game cams. Only one coyote ever, which is interesting.

Saw one catch a squirrel in my local WMA. It came back the next morning and tried to catch some birds.

I agree wholeheartedly. I've said it on here before, it's one of the most underrated areas in our entire country. I suspect that y'all would like to keep it that way

Was fishing Lake Fork many years ago. Was in the back if the cove with a grass mat and shoreline grass. Lots of nutria. Same thing, A bobcat exploded out of the grass to get a nutria. Was going fine until it noticed us. It just then backed up and disappeared.

2 years ago I saw one trotting on side of the road in St. Francisville. It had come out of the woods, trotted about 20 yards and veered back towards the woods.

Was leaving Wallace Lake after duck hunting years ago. Saw a bunch of commotion on a tree next to the road and stopped. A bobcat was chasing a squirrel and it was like a cat and mouse game. The squirrel was running round and round the big tree about 10 feet up while the cat was on the other side of the tree. It was crazy.

Another time I was fishing at Rockefeller alone by the rock jetties near the boat launch and a bobcat came trotting down the jetty right in front of me. That was fun.

I’ve seen tons of them deer hunting and never shot one. And even called one in right under my stand just squealing like a wounded rabbit by mouth. Have that on video.

Very cool animal and I like watching them doing cat things.

One of the cooler aspects of living in New Mexico was seeing bobcats almost every time I spent any amount of time away from town. They are very common. I have seen them fleetingly in the south but it became so common when I was in New Mexico that I found myself ignoring them LOL.

I live in a suburb of Dallas and see them out my front window all the time! Them and the coyotes have adapted very well to suburban life.
