I am a marsh fisherman. I have used Mr. Twister (they are pretty, but they do get hot) and Rapala. The Rapala is better, but not significantly. When I clean reds or sheephead, I use a Dexter; it works great.

I hate my bubba blade electric. Recip speed is slow, and blades are dull compared to others I’ve used. This is the cordless model. I liked my rapala better but the battery didn’t last long. If bubba came out with an upgraded version that was wise. I’ve tried to give mine away. Maybe I’ll try it with the mister twister blades.

I'm using the lithium-ion battery powered Rapala. Works great to me.

just ordered the Bubba cordless. The people I know that have it say it works better with the mister twister knife blades. Amazon reviews say the same. I’m going to try the blades that come with it first.
This is my setup. The MT blades work well for bass, sacs and brim. Love mine. I have no issues with battery life. I can usually clean 150 fish before I need to change out.

FYI I just seen Rapala has a recall on the cordless knife batteries.

I have the Rapala Heavy Duty. It's corded, so if cordless is what you're looking for, this ain't the one. But I've gotten many years of service out of it and the blades are still sharp. I've cleaned bass, bream, sacs, and specks with it. I'm sure it would do fine on reds, too.

I just ordered the corded Rapala from Academy. Hopefully Rapala sends me a new battery for the cordless one.
