I have a camp in the marsh as well that runs on generator power.

I have a bourgRV electric ice chest that has been a game changer. We have a 12v system with solar panel and lithium battery in the camp for water pump, lights etc that we also run the ice chest on. Gets down to 40 degrees in 20 minutes.

Another thing I like about them: we are often on the road and staying in AirBnBs. Being able to just toss all the groceries we bought into the electric ice chest when we checkout then plug into car before moving to the next one is awesome. Then just pull chest out of car and unload into fridge at new AirBnB. Yes, I know you can do the same with ice chest, but not dealing with ice melt is fantastic for a lot of our groceries.
