Anyone ever fish one of these? Expensive for a lure but look real pretty to me (but I am not a fish).

Why would you want to catch egrets???? Is mullet the kick arse bait for egret catchin?

Seems like they'd be a lil chewy

Egret makes solid lures. I've caught many a trout on their bayou chubs and will be trying vudu shrimp as soon as I get back out on the water.

Awesome big trout bait. I know Ken (the owner). Good guy, good baits.

I found a couple VuDu Shrimp at Pack and Paddle and picked en up. They don't have any of the mullet twitch baits in stock so I ordered one direct. Looks like it may take a week or so to come in so I won't get to take it along this weekend. The shrimp are cool. Kevlar mesh holding the tail together. I guess they can take a bullet.

Kick a mullets good. Hardy lure.
The Vudu shrimp are by far their best trout bait. 30-50 trout on 1 bait.
I bought a bunch of bayou chubs when they went on sale for the SaltyCajun tournament

I bought one and tried it out on a late summer trip 2012.

I was not impressed.

I will throw it again to give it another shot but I don't see what's suppose to be so great about it.

I like my mirrodine just fine and there are plenty other less costly jointed baits out there that I would go with after my initial trial.

Just my $.02

Can't go wrong with either of these.

I have not tried the kick a mullet yet, but did get 2 packs of the vudu shrimp and plan on trying them out this weekend.
