Easiest marina to launch and get to the long rocks of the MRGO by bay eloi?

Hopedale marina or campos marina
I normally take the back levee spoil canal to get there. Be damn sure to stay in the middle of the channel markers when you get to Lake Machias. It can be very deceiving

It depends. Hopedale marina is a shorter run but you need to know where you’re going. Campos is a straight shot but you’re in the MRGO the whole time.

This is incorrect. There’s no straight shot to get to the long rocks in the MRGO. Makes zero sense to launch at campos when trying to go to long rocks.
Your options are either run the spoil canal out or take loutre to bakers and pop back out on the backside of the rocks on the GO and run the mrgo the rest of the way.
